Marble cake

Marble cake, a true piece of kitchen art. I found a brilliant recipe to make a smooth, soft and delicate marble cake without using lot of fat and eggs (Because real woman should watch their weight… NOT, like I wrote earlier¬†)

Ingredients for 1 marble cake

  • 250 ml water
  • 250 gr white sugar
  • 250 gr of butter
  • 190 gr of self-raising flower
  • 150 gr of dark chocolate
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

How to make a marble cake

  • boil the water on the fire.
  • Add the butter and the sugar and stir until melted and mixed-up
  • In a bowl mix the eggs with the vanilla essence
  • Mix the flower with the water/butter/sugar and add the egg liquid
  • Poor half of the dough in a cake shape
  • Put the chocolate in the other half of the dough and let the cocolate melt until the dough is dark brown
  • Gently poor the brown dough in the middle of the white dough until the outer sides are white and the inner cake is brown
  • Put in an oven of 180 degrees for 50 minutes
  • Get the marble cake out of the shape when it’s still hot
