Marble cake, a true piece of kitchen art. I found a brilliant recipe to make a smooth, soft and delicate marble cake without using lot of fat and eggs (Because real woman should watch their weight… NOT, like I wrote earlier )
Ingredients for 1 marble cake
- 250 ml water
- 250 gr white sugar
- 250 gr of butter
- 190 gr of self-raising flower
- 150 gr of dark chocolate
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
How to make a marble cake
- boil the water on the fire.
- Add the butter and the sugar and stir until melted and mixed-up
- In a bowl mix the eggs with the vanilla essence
- Mix the flower with the water/butter/sugar and add the egg liquid
- Poor half of the dough in a cake shape
- Put the chocolate in the other half of the dough and let the cocolate melt until the dough is dark brown
- Gently poor the brown dough in the middle of the white dough until the outer sides are white and the inner cake is brown
- Put in an oven of 180 degrees for 50 minutes
- Get the marble cake out of the shape when it’s still hot
